Description
Shea Butter is made from the Shea nut which is harvested from the Shea tree and placed in large wooden mortars. Using manual labor, the nuts are pounded in the mortars to a granular form. The mortars are then emptied into large vats and boiled to separate the fat. The fat is then collected and cooled to form the Shea Butter. The nutty smell of the Shea nut is what comes through the natural, unrefined Shea butter Shea Butter has a play dough texture but instantly melts and spreads as a lotion when applied to the skin. You can also soften it by heating it for a few seconds in the microwave oven. It contains rich fatty acids and all the essential vitamins to soothe, moisturize and rejuvenate the skin to its natural luster Apply generously to entire body as a daily moisturizer or for temporary relief of minor skin irritation, dark spots, bruises, minor burns, diaper rash, swelling, muscle stiffness or pain.
