Medium-Soft is good for larger body areas and finer hair (in general). If you are new to sugaring and want to use the paste method, then get the Firm because it is easiest to learn with. Sugaring Paste used for removing hair from the body and face. The hair must be grown out for the sugar to remove it. Sugar paste can be used with a strip of cloth to remove it. However, the manufacturer made My Gold Sugar primarily for the stripless method or 'flick method' which they like to call it. The paste is meant to only be slightly warmed prior to use (10 seconds in a microwave). Container fits in most wax pots and sugar pots. If you use a wax pot, put it on the lowest setting. Some wax pots might heat it too hot even on the lowest setting.
