ANTIOX-C Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) powder is a water-soluble, generally non-irritating, stable derivative of Vitamin C and is a potent antioxidant. When used topically, MAP has the same potential as vitamin C to support skin's collagen and elastin, resulting in firmer, smoother and more youthful skin appearance, with diminished appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and blemishes; but MAP is effective in significantly lower concentrations. Safety Measures/Side Effects: Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is generally considered more gentle than traditional Vitamin C and therefore is milder on sensitive skin. However, those with sensitive skin may need to be aware of Vitamin Cs acidic and exfoliating effects.
